Park Board Baseball

      Youth baseball registration – Thursday, May 1st from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Wahpeton City Hall Community Room.  Participants will receive T-shirt from generous sponsors.  Played at the Hughes Fields Complex.

 

      Tiny Tots – Boys and Girls, ages 3-4.  We are looking for parents or other interested adults to run this program or it will not be held.  Please call Wahpeton Parks and Recreation if you are interested.  Times in the past have been Thursday’s from 6:00-6:45.  The day and time can be set to fit the supervisor.  We would like the program to start the week of June 2nd and run for 7 weeks.  Parents would be required to stay and participate with their child.  Cost:  $10.          

 

      T-Ball – Boys and Girls, ages 5-6.  Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9-10 a.m.  Starts on June 4th and ends on July 18th.   Cost:  $20.

 

      Pee Wees – Boys and Girls, ages 7-8.  Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10:15 - 11:30 a.m.  Starts on June 4th and ends on July 18h.  Cost:  $20.

 

      Midgets -- Boys, ages 9-10.  Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 - 10:15 a.m.  Starts on June 2nd and ends on July 17th.  Cost:  $25.00.

 

      Pony League -- Boys, ages 11-12, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 10:30 a.m. - 12 noon.  Starts on June 2nd and ends on July 17th.  Cost:  $25.00.

 

Minnesota Twins Youth Clinic – July 19th
The Minnesota Twins will offer a free baseball clinic to youth in Wahpeton and the surrounding area on Saturday, July 19th at 9:00am at John Randall Field.  In event of rain, the clinic will be moved to the Blikre Activity Center.  The clinic is open to boys and girls and is divided into two 90-minute sessions; the first session is for 6 – 9 year olds at 9:00am and the second sessions for 10-16 year olds at 10:30am.   The clinics focus is on hitting, fielding, and throwing.
