5:00 - 6:30 PM                          WEEK DAYS - Water Safety Instruction, Swim Team Practice                                                     (M & W), Lap Swim (T & Th).

8:30 - 10:30 PM                         PRIVATE POOL RENTAL - The pool is also available for rental
                                                   from 10:00 AM to Noon & 5-6 PM on weekends.  Private

WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTION 

PRE-REGISTRATION

            May 21 & 22 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM each day at the NDSCS Activities Center, upstairs hall, (use north entrance) off 16^th Avenue North.  Registration will also be held at Chahinkapa Park swimming pool throughout the summer (for a higher fee).

NORTH DAKOTA STATE COLLEGE OF SCIENCE LESSONS 

            Session I           June 2-13

            Session II          June 16-27

            Session III        July 7-18

            Session IV        July 28 – Aug 8  (9 a.m. – St. John’s Day Care)

Time Slots: 9:00 to 9:40 AM;  9:45 to 10:25 AM; 10:30 to 11:10 AM; *11:15 to 11:55 AM.

             *Session I        Levels I-VI & Older Beginner (Age 10-14)

             *Session II        Infant-pre-school with parent will also be available.

            *Session III       Only Levels 4-6 plus variations (formerly L7) will be taught at this time.

                Fee:      $28/Student during Pre-Registration (at NDSCS); $30/Student during the       season at Chahinkapa Park Pool.

            Private Lessons Available upon request.

Lifeguard Update:  May 30 -   2:00 – 7:00 p.m.

WSI:  Tuesday, May 20, June 2-6   5:00 – 9:00 p.m.

            Pre-Requisite – Age 15, Level 8 Skills, Water Safety or Lifeguard

Lifeguard Training:  Session 1 – April 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26,  (5:30 – 9:30)

                                    Saturdays – 8:30 – 2:00 p.m.

                                  Session 2 – May 20, 27, 28, 29, 30, (5:30 – 9:30)

                                    Saturday, May 31 – 9:30 – 2:00 p.m.

                                  Session 3 – Late July if needed at Chahinkapa Pool

                                    Pre-Requisite – Age 15 Level 8 Skills

BWST BOLTS

The Breckenridge-Wahpeton Bolts Swim Team consists of swimmers age 6-18 that have passed L4 swimming skills.

The home team practices start on June 9^th – July 30, Monday and Wednesday from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.  There are two mini-meets scheduled at Chahinkapa Pool with a final award party.

The traveling team practices year round.  During the school year practice is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  The summer schedule will be Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. and Monday thru Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Each season offers 8-10 meets out of town.  Athletes may attend of their choice.  Those who qualify may attend the state meet or advance to the Zone meet.  For more information call Coach Jeanne Miranowski at 643-6893 or Ann Retzlaff at 642-6733.
