3rd Grade Flag Football
Registration date: Tuesday, September 7th at Chahinkapa Park Football Field at 3:15pm.  Practice will follow from 3:30-4:30pm.  Season ends October 19th.   Fee: $20.00.

4th Grade Flag Football
Registration date: Tuesday, September 7th at Chahinkapa Park Football Field at 3:15pm.  Practice will follow from 4:30-5:30pm.  Season ends October 19th.   Fee: $20.00.

TACKLE FOOTBALL 

5th & 6th Grade BW Tackle Football
Sponsored by the Wahpeton/Breckenridge Youth Football Association.  Practices are held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. at the Wahpeton Middle School Football Field.  Registration and equipment handout is scheduled for Wednesday, August 18th for 6th graders and Thursday, August 19th for 5th graders at the Wahpeton Community Center from 4:00-5:30 PM.  The first week of practice will be August 23rd. 
Fee:  $35.00.

The Wahpeton Parks & Recreation Department will host a local NFL/Pepsi Punt, Pass, & Kick competition on Tuesday, September 14th.  The event will be held at Chahinkapa Park Football Field starting at 7:00 p.m. The event is open to boys and girls ages 8-15. Local event winners will advance to the sectional competition and have a chance to advance to the Team Championship, which will be held in November.  Team champions may advance to the NFL championship, which will be held in January at an AFC playoff game.  There is no cost for the event. Participants are not allowed to wear cleats and should arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the event. For more information, call (701) 642-2811.
