Cultivating 50 years of Relationship between

Adults and youth

Mission Statement

The mission of the Richland-Wilkin Kinship Program is to provide a sense of hope by establishing one-to-one quality relationships between youth ages 5-16 and caring adult volunteers for the purpose of promoting stability, support, friendship and community, where youth can benefit from having a significant adult involved in their life other than biological parents. The goal is to help the child survive in his/her environment by developing coping skills with the support of a significant adult.
